25 Things about the New Intern

Hi everyone!  I am the new intern here are Work at Home Moms Talk Radio, and Kelly tagged me in her 25 Things About Me post/meme over on Sparkplugging.  So here are 25 random things about me:

1. I have no idea how I got to be almost 35 years old.  I am pretty sure there is math trickery going on and I am much younger.
2. We are expecting a baby by gestational surrogate (my amazing friend) in late May and we are super excited :)
3. I have two cairn terriers.  Lesson learned:  never get another terrier to keep the first one company.  But I love them anyway.
4. My real name is Christine but was only ever called that when I was in trouble.  Yes, one “n” can make a big difference!
5. I am an Apple fan-girl.  If they make it, I will buy it.
6. I love lined Post-It notes in a obsessive way.  They HAVE to be lined.
7. I am a fast reader and have about 5 books on the go at all times.
8. I also love listening to audiobooks.
9. I love Target and wish we had them in Canada.
10. I married a man who likes to shop.
11. I have a great hubby (see #10) and we will have been married 9 years in July.  He is going to be an amazing dad.
12. I am not a chocoholic, I prefer salty snacks.
13. I love working from home, and yes, sometimes in my jammies.
14. I hate flying and the recent crashes haven’t helped my phobia.
15. My mom phones me far, far too many times in the day.  But if she doesn’t phone, I miss her.
16. I don’t like baking, I am not a measuring type of cook.
17. I am allergic to cats and don’t really get them anyways.
18. I recently lost 20 lbs without doing anything and am worried it is because I am growing a tumor or something horrible.  Not that I am complaining!  But I do have more weight to lose.
19. I have a magazine addiction, but the fact that some of my faves are going under is helping that :(
20. I tape (DVR) all my shows and watch them later without commercials.  Watching shows with commercials makes me angry, it takes up too much time.
21. I can’t listen to music with words while I work, I start focusing on the lyrics.
22. I love podcasts and have over 400 saved on my iPhone.
23. I love my iPhone, although I’m not really a cell phone kinda girl.  I play Bejeweled a lot.  And tweet.  And listen to podcasts.  And figure out where I am with Google Maps.
24. I love shopping, especially online shopping.  What is better than shopping from home and having your parcel arrive a few days later?
25. I am learning digital scrapbooking and am finally figuring out Photoshop Elements.  It has taken me a year to get my head around it.
