Have you ever wanted to launch your own work at home mom website? It seems like a lot of WAHMs do - there are hundreds of them on the web. More pop up every month and just as many drop off. Why do some WAHM site owners do well while others struggle to turn a profit?
For today’s show, we’re defining ‘WAHM Sites’ as websites created to provide information to work at home moms. (Not sites owned by moms for other purposes.)
I invited my friend Teresa Smolinski, a long time work at home mom to join me for a chat about the allure of WAHM sites and our thoughts on why some succeed while others fail.
Teresa admits that after ten plus years of working at home, she is starting to feel an itch to create something of value for the WAHM. How will her experience and success in business set her apart from others? Listen in!

Anita Marchesani is a WAHM, a personal coach and licensed psychologist. After deciding to pursue an at home lifestyle Dr. Anita also tackled homeschooling her kids. With such a busy home she still manages to operate in her area of passion.
How do you know when you’re officially stressed out? Are you like me and have a hard time admitting that you’re under stress? Don’t we all want to be super-women?
Dr. Anita has great tips for recognizing stress and dealing with it effectively. She also has some warnings for those who avoid dealing with it. Stress can have long term serious repercussions and as moms - we don’t want anything to do with those!
Anita has written a book, ‘Help! I’m a WAHM: Stress Relief for Mothers Doing It All‘ which is available for online purchase.

My guest this week is Deb Ng of Blog Talk Radio. Deb serves as BTR’s Community Manager and I’ve asked her to share about her experiences as a professional blogger and tell us how blogging for pay led her to a full time telecommuting job in the area of social networking.
How would you like to work full time from home by blogging, twittering and acting as an all around cheerleader and activist for something you love? Deb did it and it’s pretty exciting to consider what this means as far as other opportunities out there.
Deb’s other websites include Freelance Writing Gigs and Network Blogging Tips.
