My Favorite Part of the Holidays

This is a continuation of my cross blog conversation with Nicole Dean.

Nicole asks me: “What’s your favorite part about the holidays — both personal and with business?

Hey Nicole :)

I love holiday movies and enjoy going to live holiday plays too. I adore Christmas music and have several albums downloaded to my iTunes for easy listening while I work.

Unfortunately, I love Christmas cookies, candies and other treats too much!

Thanksgiving and Christmas are two days when you have permission to be gushy-mushy with loved ones who normally won’t put up with it - you gotta love that!

Business wise, my affiliate income grows throughout the holiday season which is awesome.

I do something really fun during December here at WAHM Talk Radio. We take Christmas Wishes from work at home moms and then we try as hard as we can to stuff as many stockings with products and services that these moms have wished for. I can’t wait to see what we’re able to give away this year!

These short days with little daylight have an ‘opposite world’ impact on me. Instead of making me want to quit work sooner, I get ‘in the mood’ to work sooner in the evening… weird huh? That means this time of year is usually very productive for me. It’s great for new year’s planning.

Speaking of planning… I cleaned my office this week and went through all my scrawled notes. Now I need to do a fresh brain dump of what is in my head and do some plotting and planning for 2008. Maybe I’ll tackle that tomorrow :)

My next question for you is this: How do you do a ‘brain dump‘?

Blog reader… how about you? Have you been planning for 2008 yet?
