Reviewing ‘Review Me’

I learned about Review Me from Lynn Terry and her post made me want to go check it out right away. 

Review Me is a new spin on blogging for payment and so far it looks interesting.  You create your free membership and then submit your blog for consideration.  The system quickly analyzes your blog based on Alexa numbers, inbound links, etc and it assigns a value per review post.  My blog here at WAHM Talk Radio was assigned a $60 value.

This means that if I post a Review Me review on the blog, I’ll get paid $30.00 for it.  If you’re wondering, yes - I’m actually posting a Review Me review right now.  (Reviewing Review Me) LOL!  Pretty easy stuff huh?

I like the idea that the advertiser can hand pick the blogs they want to pay for a review on.  That means you can choose someone who’s opinions you respect or you can choose a blog that gets lots of traffic over one that get’s less.

I have dabbled in some blogging for pay on another blog of mine and made some extra money - not enough to get real excited about but enough to keep me checking back for more opportunities.  I’m hoping that Review Me will be the same way.  If you’ve got a well established blog and enjoy writing reviews anwways, you may enjoy being part of this as well.
