Update Below!
We’ve stepped up the the plate before and raised cash for a fellow Work at Home Mom in a financial crisis. It was positively amazing to see how freely our community gave to someone they may or may not even have known personally.
My friends, it’s time to do it again.
LaTara Ham-Ying (Vegan Family Living) is a long time active member of our WAHM Community. She is an encourager, a giver and a doer. I’ve seen her make great strides towards building a focused business. I know how hard she works and that she has been willing to invest into her business and support this community whenever she has been able.
I also know that her computer has died and she has no ability to replace it.
This is a huge challenge. When you’re doing all you can to make ends meet day to day and you lose the one thing you rely on to run your business.
As soon as I heard about the situation I knew this was
an opportunity to give back and I am hoping that you will agree.
I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we can raise $1000 or more to purchase a new computer for LaTara. (We raised over $1300 in just a few days for another WAHM last year.) I know we can and I believe that we should!
Will you help?
I’m just asking as plainly as I can. Will you help a fellow Work at Home Mom get back on her feet and back to growing her business? If you will, I ask you to send your gift of any amount via PayPal directly to LaTara as soon as you possibly can.
LaTara’s PayPal address is latarah@gmail.com.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me (kelly@kellymccausey.com) and I promise I will post updates on our progress here on the blog.
UPDATE: (Thursday, March 27) I just heard from LaTara’s son that they have received over $600 in gifts so far :) They are overwhelmed and blessed by the outpouring of support and the notes of encouragement. They hope to be back online at home early next week.
UPDATE: (Monday, March 31st) Another $225 came in since the last update which brings the total up to $825 donated. Thank you all so much!
