Sarah’s Wish -Granted
I am requesting a Flip Camera to move from paper to personal contact with online video interviews. Right now I write personal profiles for an online site and reviews for several sites and would like to up the quality of what I can provide. This move would combine both training in speaking to the camera and writing I started this last year. I know that such equipment is a big request but I think it could provide real potential for growing my freelance business and open new doors for speaking and media work.
Tara’s Wish – Granted
My wish… “All-In-One” Printer, copier, fax, scanner. A must…this piece of technology will allow me to stay at home with my kids. I don’t want anything to stop my work @ home success and the progress that I’ve made. I chose to work from home because I have five kids and WANT to be at home. I need to have good working equipment that will allow this to continue. Not having this is making it extremely hard for me to be organized and run an effective business from home. In my business, I’m constantly sending and receiving faxes, scanning, and printing. I’m spending way too much money running down to Kinko’s and other business, using up my hard-earned profits. I would be forever grateful if this wish was granted…I’d even take a used one! Anything, I just want to stay at home with my kids and be a successful businesswoman.
(Note from Kelly: I’d like to get her the Epson Artison 800 which is the exact printer I received recently through my Sparkplugging blog. I love my Artisan and know that Tara would too!)
Trisha’s Wish -Granted
I wish for a regular digital camera. I have a camera now and it has started blurring almost all the shots recently and the video is making clicking noises. I have a business that relies on my ability to take pictures of the new designs and end results for clients. I have grown my business in the past year from a no name and have been fortunate. Its been an amazing journey, but like all stay at home moms, its one month, one order, at a time. With the economy slowing, sometimes orders slow as well and with the cost of gas and products going up, my costs go up. I have kept my prices steady in my store for my customers even throughout all of the fluctuating economy. A new camera expense is definitely a crunch for the business in the holiday season. Thankyou for your consideration.
(Note from Kelly: I’d like to get her the Fujifilm Finepix seen here.)
