Working at Home

Yes I finally own a BlackBerry! Hurray!

Sean and I were going to go lay claim to our new BlackBerry phones today but on Saturday we decided to go for it a couple of days early – and I’m glad that we did because it gave me the weekend to slobber all over it rather than losing out on valuable productive time today – important since it is a short work week!

Sean pushed me to go for the BlackBerry Curve and I’m glad that we went the extra mile for it. The camera and the Wifi capabilities are pretty cool. Sean has the Platinum, I have the Pale Gold.

Now I am officially connected everywhere I go – scary huh?

I can instant message on AOL, Yahoo and MSN and I can Twitter all I like, check my email on Gmail and even read and post on blogs and forums. Amazing!

Of course, typing on that tiny keyboard is not uber easy – but I’ll manage ;)

If you’re wondering, we went for T-Mobile service. We walked away with the phones and first month’s service for just under $700.00. I’ll be paying just shy of $150 a month for the plan which includes unlimited text messaging and internet access.

Since we’re both permanently wireless, I’ll be dropping my home phone line and just leaving the one land line for business. One less phone number to remember, one less voice mail to check. Woohoo!

It’s definitely a very sexy looking piece of technology and I NEVER in a million years thought I’d ever think technology was sexy :-)

Doing a happy dance for you!
