I was just thinking about purchasing a new shredder the other day. I was moving things around the office and was concerned about having one that was child and pet friendly. My youngest is 11 months old and I also have two cats. I was going to start looking around. This one would be perfect!

As someone who does taxes a shredder is a MUST for me. I have one of those you put over a trash can, which is great because I can store it in a drawer when I’m not using it, BUT…with three kids always on the go, I never have time to shred things because I’m always worried about little hands. Not to mention, it doesn’t fit any of my trash cans. LOL
I’ve contemplated hiring my 11 yo to do my shredding (I have a box full of stuff that needs shredding right now) but because he is like his mama and a bit clumsy I haven’t yet for fear he’ll hurt himself or his 3 yo brother will think it’s a toy and want to do what big brother is doing and help.
This shredder would be a god send to all of us.

It is a very nice looking shredder. I have not gotten one yet because I too am afraid of my girls getting hurt. I use a scissors to do my shredding. Think of all the time I will have to do my laundry if I win!! ;)

I so need this! We are on the road to a temporary job (12-18 months) in another state. We only brought the essentials and a few favorite things…and I forgot the shredder, which I consider essential! This one would be safe for when the grandkids visit, too!

This is great! My kids love to put stuff in my current shredder (supervised of course!) but still makes me nervous! Would love this for worry free kid-assisted shredding!! And, wouldn’t hurt that ‘big people’ are protected as well (and the cat….)
