I am glad to hear that I'm not the only one with this problem. LOL

Anyone else have domain name-itis. I've had so many ideas -- and domain names lying around -- that it's a joke between my business partners and I.

I have a few of them up for sale, but the others are just waiting for me to do something with them.

Now, back to focusing on my business...LOL

Hi Kelly,

I have struggled with this problem for SO long! I had often wondered if there were others who were overwhelmed by this problem too (glad to know that I'm not alone).

I have implemented 2 things that have helped me tremendously! One, I have created an "Idea Box". I picked up a very pretty box at the local store and each time I have an idea hit me, I document it along with my ideas for that project and tuck it away safely in my box promising myself that I will come back to my box as soon as I finish my current project.

The other thing that I implemented (as a suggestion I saw from a very successful internet marketer) was to have a 90-day rule for yourself. When you start a project, you dedicate yourself to that project "alone" (without starting another one) for 90 days.....no if's and's or buts....no exceptions. Together the combination of these two are working wonderfully for me! Maybe someone else will find these useful too.

Warmly,

Teresa Love

I do a similar thing with affiliate programs. I've signed up for countless programs that I've never done anything with. Now instead of signing up when I first find them, I send myself an email with the link in it. All those emails are stored in a folder in my inbox for when I have the time. Needless to say, most will never get any other attention, but this way I feel like I'm not completely passing up an opportunity. :)

The Internet is just filled with fun distractions!

Hi Kelly,

I can totally relate to this post. I'm bursting with ideas! It's so easy for me to get distracted. I have purchased tons of domains for the very reason you mentioned.

While I love the freedom to let myself explore and wander to my hearts content...I get nothing done. These days, I try to really stay focused on what I can do best (even though I want to do it all) - which happens to be health care, aging and women.

Namaste,
