Wonderful post. I have three boys, ages 2, 3 and 9 and it appears my oldest may have Asperger's. I feel that I absolutely need to be home for them. I started writing articles for various submission sites online, but I wasn't making enough. I decided to start my own article site that gave decent ad share to authors so that I could help support other moms who wanted to stay home with their kids. So far so good – the response has been excellent, and I may just be on my way to earning enough to stay home until all three of my boys are out of school. I hated saying goodbye to my oldest when he was one and in daycare. I never want to do that again.

Your post is a prime example of the reasons to work at home. Being able to spend more time with our kids is what working at home is all about. Wonderful post!

Very sweet and touching post. I must admit shedding a few (OK, more than a few) tears myself when my daughter was a baby and I had to go back to work. Now that my kidsw are teenagers, there are days when I would like to resign as a mom. Those times don't last very long though and your post is a great reminder of why I am so very thankful to be a WAHM. Thanks for sharing your heart with us.
