There are many WAHM/Mommy blogs that are so similar to one another sometimes it is hard to differentiate one from another. It is unfortunate and makes those regrettably forgettable. Though there is one action one can take, without having to recreate themselves or their blog to spice it up and make it unforgettable.
What is it you wonder? Uniqueness!
Try and think what aren’t others doing that you can to make you stand out. Think about some of the things you can implement that will be unique to you, allowing people to remember why your blog is so cool.
You must think about it a bit granted but there is something unique within all of us that can be pulled out and put into our blog.
Take my blog for instance I take two different approaches, the main one I will share with you. I use my outspoken abilities to blog about things most WAHM’s don’t; such as cliques, not so good etiquette and sharing my experiences good, bad and indifferent with my dealings online. While also trying to find interesting comparisons to make it more of an interesting read, such as Business Management – LA Ink Style.
Is this specific approach unique? No! However, this approach reaches in and pulls what is unique within me and allows me to bring that to the table of my blog posts.
The best tip I can give you on how to find your unique ability is by asking yourself this question:
- What kind of interesting metaphors or personal experiences can you use with your information making it more interesting for your readers and more personally identifiable to them?
There is one blog that I absolutely adore, that is unique to itself and I have found no other of its caliper, which is Copy Blogger.
