Fully WAHM

Today is the day.

Thursday, March 2, 2006 will go down in history as the day that Kelly McCausey became a fulltime WAHM.

It’s been a bittersweet day – I felt more emotion about leaving the office for the ‘last time’ than I expected to.  I’ve been working in that office for seven years.  I’ve done a lot of learning and growing over those years and honestly, I never thought I would be leaving the job.  I imagined that I would probably retire as their silver haired office manager after 30+ years of faithful service.

I loved my job at the church right up until the moment that I didn’t love it anymore.  And even then I didn’t hate it.  I just love what I do at home more :)

So here I am, fully WAHM.
