Have you set up your 404 page?

I cannot believe after four years I still haven’t taken the time to create a special 404 landing page?

What is a 404 page?

It’s the ugly error page people get when they type one of your web pages in wrong – or land on a page that no longer exists on your server.

You’re supposed to make sure that there is something there that directs them to the resources they’re looking for – ie: You!

I got an invite to check out the resources over at 404Secrets.com and it inspired me to finally get my 404 page set up. (The information is free – though they’ll offer you some other paid options that I didn’t take advantage of myself.)
