I feel like it is so important as a WAHM to LOVE what you do. I have a lot of projects that come across my way and I often ask myself the questions that you listed. And then I pick and choose what I will take on and what I will outsource. Making money should not always be the number one issue I think. Otherwise things can get boring and frustrating really fast. Always focus on what you are most passionate about and what you are good at.

Thanks Mary for the great post!

DAWN

I am working on this right now. When I say no to one project, I pick up another to take it's place. That didn't really free up my time. Thanks for the advice!

Mary, thanks for this post! I needed it! I am a new WAHM and it's alot harder than I ever imagined! I used to work in the corporate world and traveled alot - I thought that was hard to juggle with my family life...no way! This is way harder! You're right about making a schedule. It's important and I've learned it early on. If I don't try to stick to a schedule, I find myself doing everything for everyone but me! I seriously have to schedule time for me and my business needs!

Mary, have you been spying on me? :) As someone who lives in a pretty much constant state of feeling overwhelmed, I must admit my guilt. I don't say "no" often enough. You have some good advice here and I will keep these in mind as I try to simplify my schedule.
