Black eyes, broken bones, head injuries...etc. I know how bad that is. We didn't have anyone sending money our way...my mom had to do it on her own. I'mn proud of her for breaking free even if it took awhile. I'm proud of the strong woman she is and that she ended up marrying a wonderful man the second time around. I wish nothing but the best for this woman and hope she can make a better life for her and the kids. I do hope she takes advantage of the services and people in her local area that can help, too.
