As you probably already know there is a ton of information on the web but it’s hard to choose which would be the best source for helping you find Telecommuting jobs and/or support as a telecommuter. So we wanted to take a little time to go over some places that we feel you will get the most valuable information and support.
As we mentioned previously in the past weeks, you can definitely ask around to local businesses and/or previous employers about some telecommuting positions they may have available. But there are good resources to use online for your job search as well.
A good place to start online would be JustOnlineJobs.com, this is the Legitimate Work at Home Jobs & Resource Center. Just Online Jobs is committed to providing the best information, advice and resources for anyone who would like to work from their own home. They provide weekly updated content, daily legitimate work at home jobs, reviews of work at home resources and more! You can visit them online at www.justonlinejobs.com.
Another good place to visit would be RatRaceRebellion.com, they’ve been online since 1999. They offer free researched job leads and resources on their website. You can now also search for jobs pertaining to the type of job you are looking for which will narrow down your job search as well. You can visit this website at www.ratracerebellion.com.
Now … as a Telecommuter or even a work at home mom in general you run into the fact that you are secluded from working with others. Therefore, it’s always nice to have a place to get support, ask questions and more. Below we have included a few websites that offer a section on their forum or message board that allows you to connect with other telecommuters. Those websites are www.wahm.com, www.cwahm.com, www.telepeeps.com, www.mymommybizboards.com to name a few. You can also go online and do a search for Telecommuting forums on Google so that you can find the best support group for you.
This will give you some good information to get started on your job search and finding the support you need as a telecommuter.
