It’s unfortunate but occassionally a work at home mom gets stiffed and frankly it ticks me off.
A work at home mom ghostwriter did work for a client as requested but gets excuse after excuse about payment.
A work at home mom barters with another – giving her services in exchange for a promised product. The product never arrives and emails aren’t returned.
A work at home mom works to promote an affiliate program but the program doesn’t pay out when promised and the affiliate manager keeps promising ‘Tomorrow, tomorrow’.
These are all real situations that happen far too often.
I think in most cases the WAHM gets the short end of the stick because the other party believes that there isn’t anything they can do about it. Who are they going to complain to?
How about ME?
It crumbles my cookie when a WAHM isn’t paid when payment was promised and a barter isn’t fulfilled as agreed upon. WAHMs work hard. Their time and skills is valuable. I’m willing to put my blog and podcast where my mouth is.
If you have been stiffed in any way – email me about it. Send me all of the details and provide contact information for the person who owes you.
I will act as an Ombudsman. I will make contact, asking them to fulfill the agreement straight away or provide their reason for not doing so. If they do not do so they risk being ‘outed’ on my blog and in my podcast as someone who should not be trusted by WAHMs.

Working at Home
