I am on the verge of losing everything myself due to a disabling illness. I have felt so desperate and sad day and night lately. By reading this story, I am given hope that not everything in the world turns out so horribly, and that there are still good, caring people out there. While I have exhausted all avenues of hope for myself, it gives me some joy to know good things can happen to good people.
