Working at Home

Yesterday was my 41st birthday and other than a few minutes here and there I stayed away from the home office and enjoyed my day.

Well, if you subtract the part where I had to grocery shop – I enjoyed my day ;)

Sunday has been quiet too. (Except for two hours while my little great niece came to hang out with us but would expect a four year old to be quiet anyways?) Sean bought me House Season 3 on DVD so we spent the afternoon watching House be a jerk and then I had the most cozy nap on my couch.

I woke up to darkness and realized I had a lot to get done on a Sunday evening – including a big stack of stray papers I had set aside for a big strategic planning meeting with myself.

Good news though… my strategy turned out to be to throw 98% of it in the trash can.

I don’t need any new projects.   My existing projects are fun, profitable and personally enjoyable.  Who could ask for anything more?

Bet you’d like to see what went into the trash huh? ;)

  • Yep. What went in the trash Kelly?
  • Happy belated Birthday Kelly! And you are such a tease! Of course we'd like to know what went into your trash can:)
  • Happy Birthday.
  • I hope Sean remembered to tell you that I called you yesterday to tell you Happy Birthday! I know kids aren't the greatest at remembering to give phone messages ;-)

Sounds like you had a nice relaxing, uneventful birthday...LOL. House is a jerk but I did start liking that show when I would watch it at your house.
  • Happy Happy Happy Birthday Kelly...
