Nothing Changes Until Something Changes!

Working at Home

I just emailed a friend and I said ‘Nothing Changes Until Something Changes’.

We often find ourselves complaining about the same thing day after day or month after month. (She was frustrated by something that she was frustrated by the month before – hence my comment.)

Nothing about our situation is ever going to change until WE change it!

If you’ve got a situation that frustrates you – do something about it.  Don’t waste time complaining about it, make a change.

Don’t complain about money – do something to make more of it – or spend less of it – whichever is best in your control.

Don’t complain about the kids – spend more time with them!

Don’t complain about hubby – go jump his bones! (He’ll like that)

Don’t complain about your business – if you don’t like something – change it!

Let’s get a little more action around here Moms!

  • Thanks Kelly for the kick in the butt :-) I needed it, as I so often do ;-)
  • Yeah Kelly! If there's something I really can't stand it's people that want to spend all their time whining. They take so much effort playing victim and telling their story.

We are 100% responsible for everything that happenes in our life. We can't always change what happens to us, but we control our perception of it and how we react to it.

Here's to taking charge and kicking butt!
  • Kelly,

This is just what I needed to hear today! Thank you so much!

btw..."go jump his bones!" I almost fell out of my chair and yes, coffee hit the desk! LMBO
  • Did you just say, "Jump his bones"???!!

    LOL...very good advice!
  • Awesome post Kelly - and I agree - you gotta get off your butt and do something about it otherwise nothing is going to happen. Life is a matter of choice and not a matter of chance.
