Kristie of WebMomz shared something pretty personal on her blog recently and I have to say that I admire her for it. It’s not easy to admit to yourself that you’ve made business a higher priority than your husband, let along admit it to the world around you in such a public way.
But you know – Kristie isn’t alone. Others have made similar public confessions, including Alice Seba. I also admired her for her transparency.
I’m thankful that there are strong, successful leaders in our community who are willing to give us all a glimpse of the real life consequences of failing to make family and relationships a priority.
I’m not married – but these posts speak to me as well. Even though I don’t have a husband, I do have a son and I do have friends and family and it is important to me that they have priority in my life.
Moms, I hope that you take time to consider where your priorities are today :)
