I've done it both ways. In fact, I've gone back and forth!
Long story short - I'm sticking with the full feed in the RSS.
And - I have unsubscribed to some blogs because they are not worth a click through.

I'm pretty much the same. I don't like it when people put partials because it causes more work for me, and it actually makes it more possible for me to delete their blog from my reader unless I know them well.

I know there has been studies done on this. Problogger, Copyblogger, John Chow and Yaro Starak all recommend full feeds.

I know for myself, I have to be VERY interested in a post to click through to read the full post. Make it easy for your readers, put the whole post in front of them. Don't make them work for it.

Debbie - Fabulous that social networking is working for you - yay!! We are all learning together, and I love that WAHMs love to share what works for them.

Tanya - very true about the mobile users! Can't wait to read your new blog!

I've heard the same thing. Having the full posts for your RSS Feed is much better especially for those that read RSS feeds on their cell phone or on any other tiny screen.

Once I get my blog rolling (which will be very, very soon) I will be also put my full posts on my RSS Feed. Thanks for this post - it reminded me of what I want to do! :)

I haven't really studied this, but now I'm curious to find out what it does! I haven't separated my personal & business blogging yet.

I do know that linking my RSS feed to my social networking sites brings me much more traffic than I used to get! And while I used to allow a small portion of each post into the feed, I no longer do that and have not noticed a drop in visits to my site. But I'm still small potatoes - so I'm learning, too!
