  9. Jeanie Says:

    I will do it.

  10. Michele McFadden Says:

I also finished my mission statement. I kept if simple and easy to understand. No “Big” words to confuse anyone.

  23. Kelly Mccausey Says:

Hey there – that's a great bit of content and a wonderful story – but it's not a good fit for a VA about page. Your about page should focus in on your as a VA professional – what you do, who you serve, etc. Does that make sense?

  24. Kelly Mccausey Says:

Hurray Lois! Now you can get to writing :)

  25. Sharon McMillan Says:

Hi Genesis – I'm glad I found you again, I use to follow your expat blog :) Anyhow, I clicked on your comment link above and was taken to your At Home Mom blog and have to tell you it's one useful blog for writing tips (my interests) and one woman's perspective on working at home (love your recent vacation story).

  26. Virtual Team Says:

Last week I just joined Mom Masterminds and listening to one of the first audios suggested. You talk about staying focused to prosper in a virtual business. So at this time I just wanted to share I'm not turning the challenge down but finishing the projects I started. My challenge will come.

It's really important people get to this point of recognizing when it's time to stop creating but completing tasks. Interested in hearing how everyone else does.

  27. michaelasibanda Says:

    yes, yes I'd love to.

  28. Michele McFadden Says:

Working on 3 key points not sure what they could be for a decorating site. I wrote some didn’t think they were quite right. wrote some more but put them in about page seemed fine but now I have to write articles about them and they really aren’t something that I want to have an article on. Example: I want to be known for having how to decorating videos. But how is an article on the importance of having a how to video going to promote my site of how to decorate??

    Any suggestions please.

  29. Kelly Says:

Michele, I responded to your post at MM with some feedback :) Basically, there’s a difference between ‘what you do’ and ‘what you stand for’.

  30. Kimberly Helgeson Sams Says:

Ok, here it is the about page with the mission statement and three points worked in.
    http://stagedragon.com/about.htm

  31. Kimberly Sams Says:

now on to writing articles. I got my welcome email done and my about page. Yay!

  32. Michaela Says:

I love that I only have to inquire about being a guest on relevant podcasts. But I WILL stretch myself.

  33. Tishia Lee Says:

Ok I know I'm really late in joining in but I'm in. I have to admit this is definitely going to be a challenge that takes me outside of my comfort level and…well STRETCHES me! There's lots of things to do here but what 'scares' me the most is all the writing I'll be doing! lol

  34. Ponnsabra Says:

My goal is to start & finish this challenge in 5 months. July 27 – Dec. 27th by the end of 2010, as you shared in #2. Listening to your audios is helping me Kelly, thanks!
