Today continues our alphabetical gander at the ABC’s of a Happy and Successful Work at Home Mom with the Letter B:
B – Backend
Many moms work very hard to get the first sale, but then seem to throw away that effort by not following up. Just using PayPal buttons for a one-off sale isn’t good enough. The wonderful thing is
that once you have a satisfied customer, they will continue to buy from you.Make sure all your customers are placed in a follow-up autoresponders, so you continue to be in touch. Give them valuable information and product offers. If you don’t have more products to offer, make recommendations through affiliate programs.

B = Blog (Duh!)
Since this series is taking place on a Blog it’s a given that we have to add this to our ABC’s of the Happy and Successful WAHM. Blogging took off like a rocket and for a little while last winter I wondered if it would fade into obscurity as I found more and more blogs fading away un posted upon in our WAHM Community. I am glad to see however that blogging isn’t giving up the ghost that easy :)
With cool thinks like Wendy Piersall’s BlogJolt and great communal Blog projects like the Because Mom Said So Blog that I am a part of, blogging just continues to be interesting and fruitful for me personally. So, if you don’t have a blog – I hope you’ll be starting one soon! Get help with the Blogging Starter Pack.

B = Bland and Boring? (No. Be Yourself.)
It’s so tempting to try to be professional and how you *think* you should behave. However, you’ll build better relationships with clients if you are real. Be honest. Be genuine. Be you. That’s good enough – and it’s a lot easier than faking who you really are.

B = Better.
Work at Home Moms have to be on top of their game. To run a business as well as manage a household takes determination and scheduling. You may not feel like you have a schedule, but take a look at your day/week and see how you are spending your time. Next, think about what you can do better, what you can delegate and what would be better off removed from your schedule to allow your to spend your time in a better manner.
