Working at Home

Another segment in The Happy and Successful WAHM Series.  We move ahead with the letter P:

P – Perseverence

Never give up. If something is working in your business, see it to the end. On the other hand, if you’ve been trying the same things along and they’re not working…adjust your plan.

Alice Seba, http://www.aliceseba.com

There have been many times since I began my work at home career in January 2006 that I was ready to throw in the towel and go back out into the world of ‘jobs’.  I’ve learned over the months that it’s all about Perserverance and having a Positive attitude/outlook on being a work at home mom!  Without perserverance you won’t make it!  It takes time, perserverance, patience & a positive attitude to build up your business!

P = Priorities

It’s hard to keep your priorities straight when raising a family and building a business. Take some time each week/month to sit down and evaluate your priorities and cut out things in your schedule that don’t fit in.

P = Perfect (Not!)

Nothing I’ve ever done is perfect.  Don’t get me wrong, I like to do things right, but the harder I try to be perfect, the more likely I have to mess up.  I don’t want anyone to have a blah attitude about the products they create, but I do want you to relax a little bit and enjoy the ride.  Unless you’re an accountant or a tatoo artist, do things to the best of your ability and let the tiny details worry about themselves.
