Work at Home as a Virtual Assistant

What’s Involved

The beauty of being a VA is that you can shape a business around the skills that you bring to the table.  Virtual Assistants provide all kinds of administrative and technical support for their clients.

How much money can I make?

Depending on previous work history and skills, some new virtual assistants start out as low as $10-15 an hour.  As they gain experience they can raise their prices up to $20-25 an hour.Having long term experience or high demand skills can lead to hourly rates of $40-75 an hour for some.

What can I do to learn more?

Mom’s Talk Biz

Starting your own business as a Virtual Assistant is possibly one of the easiest businesses to get into, particularly if you have already acquired valuable office skills in your job outside the home. A Virtual Assistant (VA) provides administrative and secretarial services to other businesses and she does so “virtually.” That means that you can work from home to provide these services to your clients.
