WAHM Made Healthy Cookies – I recommend them!

Two stay at home moms have launched a wonderful new website that features a wonderful healthy cookie.  Some people laugh when we say healthy and cookie in the same sentence; however it is a very special cookie.  First of all it is GLUTEN FREE, but we do not certify them gluten free.  To be qualified as a gluten free bakery you must not cook with any gluten products and we do bake other cookies in our bakery.

These cookies are loaded with OAT BRAN.  Oat bran is so important in heart health and good bodily functions.  The cookie is also packed with protein by adding a childhood favorite, peanut butter.  Then to top it off we added raisins and flax seed for more vitamins and minerals and the best part of it is that kids don’t even know they are in the cookie.  The verdict is that they are amazing; customers can not believe how wonderful they taste and how healthy they are.  Take a moment to check out the facts at www.bizzylizzybakery.com. 

As we tried to figure out the name a friend of ours suggested “Healthy Breakfast Cookie” because of the nutritional values in the cookie.  She started comparing it to cereals on the market and figured out it has more fiber than a bowl of Cheerios.  You have to eat 3 bowls to get the same about of fiber and those 3 bowls add up to more calories than the cookie and that is before milk is added. Now, we are not saying give your kids a cookie for breakfast every morning, however on busy morning it is a great alternative to sugar filled kids’ cereal.  Give it a try!

I ran to the website and placed an order for a sample box of their healthy breakfast cookie!  They shipped to me right away and let me tell you – I loved the cookies!

They remind my son of those soft Quaker Oat Breakfast bars – but I have to be honest – these are BETTER :)  They are so soft and chewy and filling.  I just ordered another box!  They need to provide a weekly auto ship option – HINT HINT!
