Working at Home

wahmwishThis is the fourth year that Work at Home Moms Talk Radio has hosted this amazing expression of community generosity and holiday cheer.

It started in 2006 when we offered to stuff a few stockings with items that we sell ourselves.  In 2007 things grew outward as other marketers volunteered to help stuff stockings.  Last year, in 2008, things got crazy as we involved the Twitterverse in helping to fulfill the wishes of hundreds of work at home moms.

We expect 2009 to break all the records!

This Is How The #wahmwish Will Work.

Work at Home Moms who have a need for their business valued at $99 or less that they’ve had a hard time fulfilling are invited to submit a #wahmwish through the form that will be displayed here on Work at Home Moms Talk Radio (starting on Friday).

The #wahmwish can be for services like writing, graphic design, web assistance, admin work, etc and it can also be for information products and internet services like hosting, shopping carts, etc.

Your #wahmwish form must be completed in full – any submissions with missing information will be discarded.

You may only make ONE #wahmwish – and we ask you to be considerate in deciding whether you have a real need.  (There are only so many #wahmwishes that can be fulfilled and it is our desire to see the moms with the greatest need taken care of.)

When we receive your wish, we will do our very best to see it fulfilled!  We can make no guarantees or promises.  If we are able to arrange for your #wahmwish to be met, you will be contacted.

How Can I Get Involved?

I’m so glad you asked!!

  • Please follow Kelly on Twitter – she’ll be tweeting the individual #wahmwish needs.  If a need comes up that you can meet – please shout out to her to make arrangements to fulfill the wish.

  • Please Tweet and Blog about the #wahmwish.  The more that know about this, the better!  (Feel free to use the image above.)

  • Please consider making a cash donation using the button on my sidebar—->

The #wahmwish form is now closed.

Is there a way to see a list of the wahm wishes? I searched on Twitter for #wahmwish but only a couple came up. Maybe a list somewhere would be easier for those who'd like to see if they can fullfill a wish?
