It’s late Tuesday night and I’ve just completed my mini brain dump of the evening so that I can relax and get a good night’s sleep knowing that everything important for tomorrow is on my handy dandy steno pad.
It’s been a great productive week so far. I’ve completed a lot of projects. I love crossing things off my list. The whole slashing motion of the pen on paper is deeply satisfying.
I’ve been more productive at home as well as in business. I’ve grocery shopped two weeks in a row now. (Yeah, that is an accomplishment considering it had been about three weeks before that since I’d graced the aisles of a store.) Eating home more often has many benefits, starting with the pocketbook and continuing on through to my waistline.
I’ve been getting more physical activity thanks to my friend Tishia’s Boogie Breaks mandate. For me, a Boogie Break is bouncing and acting ridiculous on my rebounder (mini trampoline) while listening to some peppy song. The idea is to do it for three minutes every hour to keep circulation going and help avoid repetitive stress injuries and blood clots. I’m getting in a couple a day but definitely not doing it every hour. We’ll see… I do like how I feel after a Boogie Break. It wakes me up and keeps my lower back from getting stiff.
Speaking of the Tishia. She gave me the ‘I’m Fabulous Award’ :) She’s so fabulous isn’t she? Tishia has also recently launched Single Moms Talk Radio so if you’re a single mom yourself or happen to love one, give it a listen.
