I’m launching a fun new series where we’re going to highlight a lot of different ways to work from home – based on your personal interests and passions.
Annette Yen of Fun on the Ark is my guest today. She makes money by playing with kids and Teddy Bears… really! Annette has experience in running a successful direct sales business and shares her thoughts on deciding whether a direct sales home business is right for you.
Regina Baker pops in to share an urgent WAHM Community fundraiser. Help Gwen Elliott get back on her feet and show her how much love and support there is for her in our community.

Kelly, it was another awesome show. Very informative, very insightful.
I’m eager to find some items on the Help Gwen Elliott site. I may not know her, but my heart goes out to her, just the same.
We wahms are ending the Mommy Wars. Enough already of Moms attacking each other.
I have known women who could not stand to be at home with their kids and they admit that without guilt.
I know other women who stay home full time and are unhappy.
I think we wahms have the best of both worlds!
And if I need a break I go out for awhile. But a job isn’t the answer. Besides, I could never make as much money outside the home as I do in. They can’t afford me. ;)
Great show, the new series is perfect to really dispell the myths of different wah options. I look forward to more!
As far as the Mommy Wars go, my thoughts have always been WAHM’s are the solution. It does not have to me work or stay home anymore, you can work at home and not lose yourself, still have a personal adult focus, but still be home. I agree with Carrie, I have friends on both sides unhappy and happy, and the unhappy ones all want to be me. LOL I was a happy working mom before my second child was born and daycare costs made it ridiculous to work, I didn’t think I could stay home and be happy, the only reason I think I am doing it, is because I have my businesses.
