Work at Home Moms Talk Radio #224

My featured guest this week is Michelle Waters, host of Product Sellers Talk Radio and owner of Waters Web Solutions, home of the Shop Kit Plus.

Michelle is here to talk about the steps you need to take in making sure that you own your website, from the domain name to the graphics you use.

I also answer a listener’s important getting started question:

‘Should you do something you aren’t really interested in now in order to make the money to do what you really want to do later?’

News & Happenings:

  • MommyFest is happening next week and I’m a featured speaker!

  • Business & Learning WAH Expo has been rescheduled for June 3-6th.

  • Hot Seminar Series Best of 2006 & 2007 is on sale now for only $14.97. These audio’s are retiring permanently on May 30th so grab them while you can.

Do you have a question about how to get rolling with your business? Use our Listener’s Line to call in your questions (Call my Listener’s Line at (214) 615-6505 ext 9115.) or feel free to email it to me. Maybe I’ll answer your question on next week’s show.

  1. Sharon says:

Kelly your comments are so practical and encouraging – especially as they relate to moms trying to figure out how to make the transition to business owner.

I think an awful lot of moms are in that transition mode and trying to figure out how they can become entrepreneurs – especially when the current job is paying the bills & insurance. The important point to remember is the current job might not always pay the bills as we know no job is guaranteed. It makes such sense to develop the skills and interests that you have and scratch that “entrepreneurial itch” as you call it. It’s hard work (balancing a job while building a business) but so gratifying knowing that you are building for the future on a financial level and on a personal level.

  2. Kelly, I love the opening theme. So apropos! Deb Gallardo
