Hello once again. My name is Scott Tousignant your guest home office fitness blogger at WAHM Talk Radio. My kids wanted to cheer you on today. Noelle is giving you a thumbs up and Shayne is saying, “You ROCK!” :)
Today I’ll be sharing another 2-minute quickie desk exercise routine that you can easily incorporate into your busy workday.
There are dozens of reasons why I coach busy work-at-home-moms to incorporate fast fun home office fitness into their workday instead of sending them to the gym for an hour long workout.
Some of the reasons for short bursts of exercise include a) increase metabolism, b) increase productivity, c) increase energy, d) improve quality of work, e) promote a balanced lifestyle.
But the #1 Reason why my home office workouts and cardio sessions are 10 minutes or less is “COMPLIANCE”.
Before I get into detail on the topic of sticking to a healthy active lifestyle I would first like you to perform this 2-minute desk exercise routine. So stop reading and get active, then come back and finish reading the rest of this post.
Now back to home office fitness compliance…
See how easy it was to step aside and take a quickie fitness break? You didn’t need to apply any make-up or do your hair, or get out of your pj’s if you’re still wearing them ;)
Getting ready to go to the gym can feel like a chore. If you have a big project that you are working on it’s easy to make that a priority over your workout if you need to spend 45-60 minutes exercising.
But 2-10 minutes… who doesn’t have time for that? Especially when you don’t even need to leave your home office.
When you take a health break... a YOU break, each hour to perform the two minute routine above or the two minute quickie workout that I shared with you two days ago it becomes a part of your daily routine. It becomes a new healthy habit that you don’t even have to think about. It’s set on autopilot.
When you take a 10-minute break to do a complete quickie workout or cardio session and you experience the positive impact that it immediately has on your business you will never want to miss another quickie ever again.
The reason why most people don’t stick to a fitness program is because it doesn’t suit their lifestyle. It doesn’t take your unique needs into consideration.
You can devote two minutes each hour to improving your health and quality of life. I know you can! Your business and family will be better off because of it too.
Two minutes may not seem like a lot of time to get in a good workout, but when you add it up throughout your day it sure can have a big impact.
Go for it! Take control of your health and your life. You work hard, you love your family, and you deserve to live the best quality of life possible.
You ROCK! Enjoy the experience,
Scott Tousignant

Hi there. This is Scott Tousignant back again with more home office fitness tips and strategies to help increase your productivity while improving your quality of life.
Today I’ve asked my wife Angie to join us and share some motivational tips to encourage you to make your health the #1 priority in your life.
Angie is a busy work-at-home-mom who runs a daycare out of our home. She is also a certified fitness trainer and plays a big role in our online fitness business, authoring the book More Love Less Fat, recording videos, doing interviews, and writing blog posts.
As a busy work-at-home-mom you wake up early and your day never seems to end. There’s always something to do and someone to look after. The needs of everyone else come before your own and you’re left with very little time to take care of the most important person… YOU!
Today, that’s all going to change and Angie’s here to help you make that happen.
Hopefully after listening to Angie you now realize that it’s more important for you to take your scheduled fitness break than it is to tackle the latest task that just got dumped on you.
Which one of Angie’s motivational strategies are you going to apply to help you take a pass on the snooze button and get your butt out of bed 10-minutes earlier to get in a quickie workout?
What will you tell your kids and/or husband when you want to go out for a walk or do a quickie cardio session at the end of your busy workday?
In the video above Angie recommended that you purchase an article of clothing such as a bathing suit that you would like to fit into when you reach your goal. She also recommended that you make it visible so you see it every day.
In this picture Angie is wearing a bathing suit that she purchased which was a couple sizes smaller than where she was at when she wanted to get in great shape. She hung it up on the our bedroom door so it would be the first thing that she saw in the morning and the last thing that she saw before she went to bed.
Using the bathing suit as part of her motivation she was able to release 6% bodyfat and flatten her tummy. It’s important to note that we have two children and our youngest, Noelle, who is now 6 years old, was delivered by c-section. And if you are wondering… No Angie is not genetically gifted. She can gain weight just as easy as the rest of us.
You may not want to get as lean as Angie is, but using a bathing suit, a slimmer pair of jeans that you can’t quite fit into, or a nice evening gown as motivation to tone up your body and get healthy can help you stick with the program for the long term.
Fat Loss Quickie member Angela Wills is using a leather jacket that she received as a gift but hasn’t been able to fit into for a while. She has pictures of herself from when she did fit into the jacket so she knows how great she’ll look when she can wear it again. That’s a powerful motivator and can really help you visualize the outcome!
It’s time to take action! No more excuses! You owe it to yourself, your family, and your business to make your health the #1 priority in your life.
You ROCK! Enjoy the experience,
Scott Tousignant
