Working on my Content To Do List

Working at Home

Last week Lynn Terry delivered a solid gold session on creating content that delivers traffic and sales.  One of my tasks at this year’s Hot Seminar Series is to take careful notes for my Season Passholders and then to create a to do list that can be used as a personal checklist, guiding them through the process of applying what they have learned from the speaker.

I have really enjoyed the process and came up with a killer check list for Lynn’s session.

One of the items on the list is to create useful pages on as many Web 2.0 Social Networking sites as possible – and I’m working on that for awhile this morning.

There are a LOT of Social Networking sites out there.  I had decided last month that I would focus some of my time on Squidoo – so that is where I’m spending my time right now.  I added a page about Mom Masterminds and now I’ve added a page about The Power of a Focused Business.

Building a page on Squidoo is fast and easy and from what I’ve heard, get’s good treatment from the search engines.

The rest of my checklist won’t be as easy peasie – but as I work my way through it I know I’ll be seeing more traffic and more sales!

(If you want to get in on this checklist action, just pick up a Season Pass!)

  • I took Lynn's advise as well and built 2 Squidoo lenses this weekend. It's kind of addicting, I have ideas for so many more! I joined several groups as well, to get the word out.
  • I decided to spend an hour yesterday building Squidoo lenses. It was really easy and fun and I ended up with 8 of them. I plan on spending a few minutes each week updating them. Looking forward to seeing the results of this.
