Working at Home

You may have heard of or use Skype, a program you can use on your computer to make free or low-cost phone calls using your internet connection.  Pamela Call Recorder is a program that can work with Skype to record calls and publish them as an MP3 file.

Why would you want to use Pamela for your business?

  1. You could record a glowing testimonial from a current client or customer and publish it on your website to entice potential clients or customers.

  2. You could conduct a telephone interview with an industry expert and sell it as an information product from your website.

  3. You could create your own podcast to illustrate features of your products or the benefits of your service as a freebie download for a visitor that joins your email list.

Below is a short video to show you how Pamela works.

In the free version, you can record calls up to 15 minutes each.  For $20, you can download the full version which will allow you unlimited call recording.

A note for Mac users: Pamela does not yet work with Mac computers.

  • I was wondering how Kelly recorded our meeting phone calls. Great. I'm going to bookmark your post because this is a super useful tool.

  • My experience with Skype - just under one year ago - was not the greatest. My connections were not good and anyone I talked to said I sounded like I was in a cave. Nobody could figure out why. I have a DSL connection - had a good headset... I haven't been a big fan of Skype because of that. Loved the idea of it and know I'd use it if it had worked better for me.

    This great info.
I'm not familiar with Pamela (not much of a techie) but definitely interested to incorporate for my husband's business.
  • I am trying to get a podcast going for my husband and his brother. We are going to be using Pamela. It is so easy to use! The price is great too. Only $20 for longer than 15 minutes! Of course free is good too!
