Working at Home

This term ‘Yummy Mummy’ has stuck in my head ever since one of the coaches on Dancing With The Stars used it to describe Jennie Garth.  He was referring to how awesome she looks for having had children – but I’ve adopted the term to adoringly refer to work at home moms who offer something delicious for sale on the web.

Sheila Rae, Bizzy Lizzy Bakery: Yummy cookies in a variety of flavors.  I’ve tried several and I just adore the Peanut Butter Healthy Breakfast Cookie.  My son loves the Chocolate Chip variet yof course.

Laurie Ayers, Princess Fudge: I’ve placed my order for a pound of Peanut Butter Fudge!

Cara Mirabella, Cara’s Cafe: I’ve put in my order for coffee and a delicious sounding cake mix.  I sort of have that earmarked for a gift… but I’m not sure it will make it into the wrapping paper ;)

What do you think?  They are definitely Yummy Mummies!

Are you a Yummy Mummy or do you know one?  Feel free to add a plug for them or you in the comment section!

  • Laurie the fudge is YUMMM-O! What a great time of year to offer something like this :)
  • Yummy Mummy! Ah I love it! I'm honored to be called a YM! Thanks for your order Kelly! Enjoy!
  • LOL~ yummymummy used to be my email address and internet handle. I was given that name, didn't choose it for myself! But it also referred to breastfeeding. I'm surprised to hear someone else using it.
  • I don't often pay attention to my body and mind but maybe it is time to start. Thanks :)
